The 4 Biggest LinkedIn Mistakes CEOs Make

This easy-to-read guide will help you avoid making the biggest Linkedin mistakes that CEOs make with their content that cost them views, engagement and even sales!

Common Mistake 1: Posting blogs on LinkedIn

Despite the blogs you are resharing are very insightful, LinkedIn hates it when you direct their audience outside of their platform.

Even if it is to your website.

They want everyone to be kept within LinkedIn and never leave it.

If you have some blogs, and articles, the best thing for you to do is turn the article into a PDF and post it directly as a PDF on LinkedIn.

Here is an example of how we turned an article into a PDF and it got 5,000 more views than when it was posted as blog link.

Common Mistake 2: Not Posting Any Hyper-Personal Stories.

So many people think, LinkedIn is for professional stuff only.

False.

LinkedIn is like Facebook now (well its algorithm is anyway).

If you want to get noticed, you need to dig deep and share hyper-personal stories.

Here is one example of how we did a hyper-personal story for a client that got 200,000+ reach for him:

Common Mistake 3: Resharing posts

Resharing is cool.

But LinkedIn loves it when you share you’re posting direct content authentically.

Workaround: post the video directly. Watch your views triple.

Common Mistake 4: Sharing Youtube Videos

LinkedIn doesn't want the audience to be directed outside of their platform.

Especially not Youtube.

Workaround: upload the video natively directly in to LinkedIn. Watch your views 3x.

Youtube share Linkedin
